Merry Christmas
Hope that Santa brought you everything you wanted. Actually, what I really hope is that you all have loved ones near, a warm home, and the knowledge that the moosie cares.
Thanks to daughter for the test yesterday . . . isn't she a kick? Funny pictures, kiddo. Just remember . . . . heh
Looks like it may have been a glitch in my connection or somesuch, because today I can finally post the photo I was trying to show you all of our Monday morning surprise:
hubby sweeping off the cars around 8 a.m.
Yes, it is pretty dark still at 8 a.m.
view of spruce trees and houses
across the street after sunrise.
Aye-yup . . . we were greeted with a LOAD of snow. Twelve inches overnight . . . and more throughout the day. Hubby was late to work (good think he is his own boss, huh?) as was just about everyone in the area. The snow plows could barely keep up with the stuff. The city plow didn't make it down our street until midmorning. And, I have no clue where Monday's paper might have landed. We'll find it in the spring, I imagine.
But it makes for a lovely, White Christmas.
Well, hubby has just come back inside from using the snowblower on a neighbor's driveway - and we have two more movies to watch. So, I will take on out of here and bid you all goodnight.
Now we begin to count down to a new year. 2004! Which brings up a question as I leave you. How do you pronounce our years? I say Two Thousand Four. A local radio newsguy says Twenty-oh-four. {shiver} What say you all?
