football player? preacher? grandson!!
What's in a name?
Paw-Paw presents baby with his first football. They are remarkably similar in size wouldn't you say?
The verdict is in, the names have been discussed, and the winner has been chosen. Isaiah Thomas T_______. A big moniker for a bitty little man. Ladybug has been whispering the name Isaiah to the little guy all day long and swears that he smiles when he hears it. So, that was the first vote.
Mama and baby are doing well. He is a tad jaundiced looking - mostly due to the fact that it took nearly 36 hours for his first bm. That has been accomplished now and he is nursing well, so he should be fine as far as the bilirubin is concerned. Jenn will try to get him into the sunlight for a bit every day and that will help also. The doctor is not overly concerned. Many Alaskan babies develop some jaundice.
One more night in the hospital and then daddy will be picking them up in the morning while Nana stays with the siblings. They should be home and ready for a nap around noon.
Today was TAT's shopping day. He picked out a present for Mama and one for brother, too. So we took him for a short visit before taking him back home.
That's some true brotherly love going on there - I think TAT is getting used to the idea of having a brother instead of a sister this time. Wonder how long it will take him to get used to Isaiah as the name - he wanted to call him George.
Thank you, everyone for your kind thoughts and good wishes for the family. I am sharing them all with them. Have a wonderful week, everyone.

Blogmadness Winners Bracket
Round 4 is ongoing. Please read both entries and vote for your favorite. Timothy and I thank you.
My opponent's third round victory was astonishing - over 40 votes separated him from his competition. Go and read both entries, vote - then pass it on, if you would. Thank you.
