More Seward Pics
Tonight I will share "homes" with you:
Ever see a "cordwood house?"
just outside Seward
I grabbed a quick shot while we walked back from the Museum
Just a very cool looking house, huh?
Hi, honey, I'm . . . home?
the evening skies as we neared Kenai.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh home

I just surfed over from Phyllis's blog. It sure is pretty in here!! I love the cord wood house!
Love the pics as always -- on the last one, is that a mountain in the distance. How cool.
Pat
welcome, Brenda!
hi, Pat - yes, that is Mt. Redoubt a volcano which sits about 80 miles across Cook Inlet from Kenai. This pic was taken just coming into Sterling which is about 20 miles from home (thereabouts). Shot was taken through the windshield as I was driving (hubby hates when I do that - heh) and there is a reflection from the glass - you can see my sunglasses on the dash.
But it is a cool pic nonetheless and just highlights one of the reasons I love this area.

Wow, I so wanna live there!!
