Praise worthy
You may remember this entry telling of my friends who underwent kidney transplant surgeries . . . one to give and one to receive. Tonight was a wonderful night.
I almost didn't go to Bible study and prayer service tonight. I had a headache that wouldn't quit and was not feeling quite up to snuff. At the last minute I decided to go on over. I am so glad that I did.
Just after opening prayer pastor began his study. Suddenly he looked up and said "Brother! It's good to see you!" and with that, my friends slipped into the pew next to me. I hugged the wife (we are limiting hugs to the recipient for awhile in order to lessen the chance of giving him a nasty bug) and she and I cried together. It has been a long six weeks.
They arrived in Anchorage last night - saw his kidney doctor there this morning and drove straight down to Kenai in order to surprise us all. And, surprise us, they did. We did not expect to see them until Sunday.
Our Lord is a wonderful God. He has touched two souls and used them both in a great way.
'night, friends
