what's different?

Walked into the writers group meeting tonight and one of the others looked up - said "you got your hair cut! I like it." I thanked her and then she said - "did you color it, too?" No, I replied - this is all me. She continued trying to figure out what was different - and it came out that the difference is the weight I have lost.

I haven't been to the last two meetings, so it has been around a month since they all have seen me.

28 pounds is a lot of weight - I guess - and I am told my face shows it. ;-)) That's not the only part of me that is loose, tnough. LOL - no, I'm not going into detals. Of course, there is still this strange little 100 pound beastie that is clinging to my bones needlessly. Begone, 100 pound beastie - begone! (there, that ought to do the trick!) Heh.

Tomorrow I get to spend some time with the Ladybug and the little man himself. Yay. We are going to be making the doctor rounds - pediatrician and, if he is up to 6 pounds, the doctor who will be performing the circumcision. Ouch! Poor little man.

So - I had best get off here and get some rest - gotta be in good shape in order to take out the doctor that hurts my grandboy. ;-)) Yes, I'm kidding. (maybe not)

Have a wonderful Friday, everyone.

p.s. Blog Madness continues. Thank you, friends.

You just got what WW folks call an NSV -- a non-scale validation/victory! It's those things other than the falling numbers on the scale that let you know you're one the right track.
