One more time
The countdown has begun. In just about three hours from now - 8 p.m. or so Alaska time - the 5th Elimination Round will begin. You can find my matchup by clicking right here.
As we come down to these last few rounds I am faced with this - I am being pitted against entries I have voted for in other rounds. They are good entries. And, I know it can be a tough decision for some.
My readership is not overly large. My numbers game in this silly little contest has not been the highest. And, that is totally okay with me. You see, this has been fun. I have maybe had a few more folks read my utterances - and, if they liked the story about Timothy, maybe they will - or have - come back for more. Maybe I will gain new friends through this.
I don't think I have gained any enemies. And, in the long and short of the day, that is a nice thing to be able to say.
So - if you have a few minutes to spare - go here and read the matchups and then vote - if you would - for your favorite.
You can only vote once - and that is as it should be (this ain't a presidential election, after all) - so, should you think the entries worth a second look, tell your friends and your readers where to find them. Maybe they might want to take a look and take a read and make a vote.
At the very least, this could be the last go-around that you hear about all this. I am in the final of the double elimination. If I go down this time, it is down and out. As I say, that is not necessarily a bad thing.
So - there ya go - an early entry - an earnest entry - and I am outta here. Thanks, my friends.
