Have been purusing Hilo sites

Have been purusing Hilo sites online - checking out prices for the things I'd like to do. Some of the guided tours look like great fun - they are a tad spendy, which is to be expected. I don't think we will be able to afford any guided tours like that, but that is not to say we won't be doing some of the same things. ;-))

This morning I was invited to sing with the worship team during services. It has been awhile since I have done that - I generally chime in with my alto from the back row. But it was nice to be invited - and nice to be up there mic in hand, praising the One who saved me.

A friend's son was so sweet after practice this morning. I had gone to the kitchen to get a cup of water when he and one of the pastor's boys came up. Are you going to sing, Mrs. W___? When I answered yes, he said "good - because you sounded good." Now, isn't that a nice young man? Yes, I told his Mama - I wanted her to know that her "fetching up" with her boy is working.

And, now I find myself nodding at the computer so I am going to close for this Sunday evening. Have a wonderful week, everyone
