A Recipe

No time to play - no time to read
A good recipe is what you all need
I cannot stay to visit tonight
Here's the T-man's favorite bite:

The Kenaitze Cuya Qyut'anen Head Start five year old Timothy attends put together a cookbook. Among all of the recipes from family and teachers, the children were asked to describe their favorite meal.

The teachers wrote it down word for word and these precious recipes were added into this special collection.

With his Mama's permission, I now give you the recipe for Timothy's Favorite Food: Hamburgers.

First she takes meat and mashed potatoes. Then she flips them over she cooks them 5 minutes. I eat it with salt and Tobasco spices. Tobasco is spicy and will burn off your lip so be careful. Then I put ketchup and mustard on it.

And, there you have it, friends. A perfect (in the mind of a five year old) meal. Bon appetit!

My son's daycare did this when he was about the same age -- his response: Frozen Dinners. "You buy them at Wal-Mart -- they don't cost too much. You put them in the microwave, then eat them fast so you have time for a walk with Momma."
I died laughing!
